Ahmedabad public transport system is powered by an extensive bus network covering 96% of the city through Ahmedabad Municipal Transport Services (AMTS), Bus Rapid Transit System (BRTS) that serves nearly 6 lakh passengers per day and the Metro Rail serves an additional 1 lakh passengers daily. Supplementary services include auto- rickshaws, taxis, ride-hailing apps, and bike-sharing. The upcoming Mumbai- Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail will further enhance connectivity.
